A cleft lip and palate are birth defects that occur when a baby’s lip or mouth does not form properly during pregnancy. A cleft lip is a gap or split in the upper lip, while a cleft palate is a gap in the roof of the mouth.
To prevent tuberculosis, get vaccinated, maintain sufficient ventilation, and use masks. Treatment consists of taking antibiotics under supervision
Treatment typically involves surgery to repair the cleft and may include speech therapy and dental care to address associated issues.
